Selling A Financed Car In Copiague, NY The Process!!
OK, Addressing a big question that client’s ask everyday at Cash For Cars Long Island, What is the process of selling a financed car that has a balance left on a bank note?
And here it is,
The Documents needed to complete a financed vehicle sale:
- Certificate Of Title
- Photo Identification
- Copy Of The Most Recent Car Loan Statement
The process, is much the same if you owned your vehicle out rite. After you arrive at Cash For Cars Long Island, after a 10 minute appraisal and a short test drive, we will make you an offer to purchase your Financed Car / Vehicle, right there and then, Same day or you can take sometime to think about it, it’s OK by us! After accepting a final value for the vehicle, We will call the lending institution (BANK), to get what’s called a 10 day payoff, and an overnight address in which to overnight pay-off. We then deduct what is owed on your vehicle from the agreed final value of your vehicle, and the remaining balance is then payed to you. We pay the lending institution, and they issue us a lien release, that states the vehicle is payed in full and free of liens. We attach that to the Original Certificate Of Title, and sell the vehicle through one of our National Dealer Auction Affiliates.
At the time of Selling Your Car to Cash For Cars Long Island, you are free and clear of that vehicle, the very same day. We purchase vehicle’s with remaining Bank Loans on them, everyday.
